We know how lucky we are to be here in the desert Southwest ... Even Key West was chilly today (January 18), and I guess Boston could be called downright cold.
This is part of the Family Motor Coach Association
(FMCA) Rally area. Over 660 motorhomes filled the area later. (I didn't get a picture of the area filled, as I was too under the weather to get on the roof of the HappieCamper to take the shot. Notice that the "road" is wet -- They had a water truck traveling all the roads watering the dirt to keep the dust down for us. Nice touch.
For the first night of the rally, FMCA put on a lighted balloon ascent and fireworks. To top it off, there was a full moon, too.
